Renee joined the dental profession in 1986. She completed the program for dental assistants at Florence Darlington Technical College and received her Certification through the Dental Assisting National Board. Renee's chairside dental assisting background includes general dentistry and periodontics.
Renee earned an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Darlington Technical College in 1992. She provided dental hygiene care to patients for over 17 years.
Renee graduated with a Bachelor's of Health Science Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2006. Renee is an active member of the South Carolina Dental Hygiene Association, the American Dental Hygiene Association, and OSAP.
Renee is a published author and speaks nationally on OSHA and HIPAA topics. Renee's experience both as a chairside dental assistant and a hygienist helps her to fully understand the needs of dental team members in achieving OSHA compliance and infection control.
Renee was honored as the South Carolina’s Hygienist of the Year 2010 and is a proud member of The American Dental Coders Association.
